When manufacturing injection molded plastic parts at Tojos, automation is always a priority.
Our increasingly advanced robots handle much of the work that was previously done manually. However, in some cases, manual labor is still required. This is primarily for post-processing of plastic products. This creates job opportunities with simpler tasks.
An example is the Näsfrida
Assembly of Näsfrida
One person operates an assembly robot and replenishes the various plastic parts. The robot assembles the finished Näsfrida and drops it into a box.
Packaging of Näsfrida
The team often sits together and assembles piles of plastic parts. A package of Näsfrida consists of several different plastic parts, filters, and a manual placed in a plastic case, and packaged in a box containing 10 units.
Packaging
The boxes are placed in shipping crates that are taped together and placed on pallets ready for delivery.
