The PUR process, with all its material variants, allows us to produce parts made from anything from soft and flexible castings to hard and impact-resistant types of glass-filled plastic. A vacuum casted product can be manufactured with various surfaces, adding embossing and colour pigment to achieve the desired finish. You can easily do in mould casts of other materials or make castings (2K) in order to obtain several material properties on one and the same plastic part.
Vacuum casting is advantageous where small series production of parts is required. It does not take long to produce the tools, and the parts are entirely free of pores, making them very strong.
The method requires very little post-processing.
