Increased Interest in Fully Automatic Quality Control

We observe a growing interest from our customers in installing vision systems for quality assurance in the manufacturing of plastic products through injection moulding.

The medical product Windi is a gas valve for "little farts," designed for babies experiencing gas problems. When inserted, it releases gas, relieving pressure. It has quickly gained popularity.

There are high-quality requirements for the production of medical products. To ensure the quality of Windi gas valves during manufacturing, Prototal in Malmö has installed a vision system for fully automatic quality control.

How it works

The computer's preset software compares the image with specific measurement points and areas to ensure that each product is correct. If a product is found to be defective, it is automatically sorted out and discarded by the robot.

Advantages

Vision-automated control provides quality improvement, ensuring high-quality standards. Prototal can cost-effectively deliver quality-assured plastic products.
