Prototal Sweden AB (Prototal) has now become a member of SOFF – the industry organisation for companies in the security and defence sector.
The membership strengthens Prototal’s ability to contribute to Sweden’s security and preparedness and opens doors to new collaborations and opportunities for competence development within the defence field.
SOFF works to create the best possible competitive conditions for defence and security companies by promoting market access and international trade. The organisation represents around 250 member companies active in areas such as civil security, cyber technology, and defence technology.
“Becoming a member of SOFF is an important step for Prototal. We see a growing need for advanced manufacturing solutions within the Swedish total defence, and through our membership we can deepen our collaborations and continue to strengthen our expertise in this area. We aim to be an active contributor to the development of Sweden’s defence capabilities and long-term readiness,” says Karin Holst, Global Sales Director Aerospace & Defence, Prototal Group.
“We warmly welcome Prototal as a new member of SOFF. Their expertise in advanced manufacturing, additive production, and high-end industrial solutions is a valuable addition to strengthening Sweden’s total defence. Together with our members, we work to address the growing security challenges facing the country,” says Robert Limmergård, Secretary General of the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association.
SOFF also collaborates with international industry organisations and is a member of the AeroSpace and Defence Association in Europe (ASD) and the NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG), and has several cooperation agreements with organizations in other countries.
